During the filming of a documentary about krokodilers life over 250 million years, said the film team's medical staff almost unnaturally rapid healing of crocodiles laid. Big bloody wounds healed nicely, even though crocodiles live in stagnant swamp water filled with bacteria and all sorts of viruses.
The observation was further examined after several visits crocodilefarm samples showed that the secret is in the crocodile skin oil containing a substance more detailed studies have shown antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. This may be the reason that the crocodile is one of the oldest living creatures on our planet. In fact, it is not likely that there have been genetically altered to more than 250 million years.
